Grameen Shakti and Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited Signed MoU on Installation of Bio-Gas Plants

Grameen Shakti and Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) signed a MoU with on installation of bio-gas plants in the rural areas on Sunday, 30 December 2012.

Abser Kamal, acting Managing Director of Grameen Shakti and Md Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of Islami Bank signed a MoU on behalf of their organizations at the bank’s board room in Dhaka. Syed Abdullah Md Saleh, Deputy Managing Director, Asheque Ahmad Jebal, Executive Vice President of the Bank and Bikas Kumar Das, Head of Accounts of Grameen Shakti, Md Shamsul Haque, Md Habibur Rahman, Engr. Md Abul Bashar, Md Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan, FCA, AKM Abdul Malek Chowdhury, executives and officers of both the organizations attended in the signing program.

Abser Kamal, acting Managing Director of Grameen Shakti thanked Islami Bank for coming up with this initiative for improving the livelihood of the rural peoples. Managing Director of Islami Bank Md Abdul Mannan has said that “Islami Bank is trying to remove the gap between the rich and the poor through equal distribution of wealth.”
