The 15th edition of Social Business Day, organized by the Yunus Centre and Grameen Group, will take place on June 27–28, 2025, at the Samajik Convention Centre in Zirabo, Savar. This year’s theme is: “Social Business is the Most Effective Way to Ensure Healthcare for All.”

The event aims to be a global convergence of knowledge, experience, and innovation—addressing inequalities and limitations across healthcare and other sectors to build a sustainable, just, and humane world. The two-day program will feature 5 plenary sessions and 8 breakout sessions focused on diverse perspectives and ideas.

More than a thousand participants are expected, including more than 180 international delegates from 25 countries. Prominent speakers include Professor Md. Saidur Rahman, Health & Family Welfare assistant to the Chief Adviser of the Government of Bangladesh, Omar Ishrak, former CEO & Chairman of Medtronic and former Chairman of the Board, Intel Corporation; Dr. Ismail Serageldin, former Vice President of the World Bank (1992–2000); Erik Solheim, former Executive Director of UN Environment and former Minister of Environment & Climate, Norway, among many other distinguished guests. H.E. Professor Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and 2006 Nobel Peace Laureate, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker.

As part of the extended program, a special Academia Dialogue will be held on June 29 in collaboration with North South University, engaging teachers, students, and researchers to explore the role of social business in driving societal progress. Following this, the Three Zero Club Convention will take place—focusing on how to achieve zero carbon emissions, zero wealth concentration, and zero unemployment in the world.

১৫তম সোশ্যাল বিজনেস ডে ২০২৫ অনুষ্ঠিত হতে যাচ্ছে ২৭-২৮ জুন

ইউনুস সেন্টার ও গ্রামীণ গ্রুপ আয়োজিত ১৫তম সোশ্যাল বিজনেস ডে ২০২৫ অনুষ্ঠিত হতে যাচ্ছে আগামী ২৭-২৮ জুন, সাভারের জিরাবোতে অবস্থিত সামাজিক কনভেনশন সেন্টারে। এ বছরের প্রতিপাদ্য—“সবার জন্য স্বাস্থ্যসেবা নিশ্চিতকরণে সবচেয়ে কার্যকর পথ হলো সামাজিক ব্যবসা।"

বিশ্বব্যাপী স্বাস্থ্যসহ বিবিধ খাতে বৈষম্য ও সীমাবদ্ধতা দূর করে একটি টেকসই, ন্যায়ভিত্তিক ও মানবিক মূল্যবোধের ব্যবস্থা গড়ে তুলতে এই আয়োজন হবে জ্ঞান, অভিজ্ঞতা ও উদ্ভাবনী দৃষ্টিভঙ্গির এক অনন্য মিলনমেলা, যেখানে থাকছে ৫টি পূর্ণাঙ্গ অধিবেশন ও ৮টি ব্রেকআউট সেশন।

দুই দিনব্যাপী এ আয়োজনে থাকবে ২৫টিরও বেশী দেশ থেকে ১৮০ জনের ও অধিক বিদেশি সহ সহস্রাধিক অংশগ্রহণকারী। আসবেন স্থানীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিকভাবে স্বীকৃত শতাধিক বক্তা, সামাজিক ব্যবসা বিষয়ে তাদের অভিজ্ঞতা ও জ্ঞান সবার মাঝে ছড়িয়ে দিতে। যাদের মধ্যে অন্যতম হলেন প্রফেসর মোঃ সাইদুর রহমান, গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ সরকারের মাননীয় প্রধান উপদেষ্টা এর  স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণ বিষয়ক সহকারী; ওমর ইশরাক, প্রাক্তন সিইও ও চেয়ারম্যান, মেডট্রনিক এবং প্রাক্তন বোর্ড চেয়ারম্যান, ইন্টেল কর্পোরেশন; ডাঃ ইসমাইল সেরাজেল্ডিন, প্রাক্তন ভাইস প্রেসিডেন্ট, বিশ্বব্যাংক (১৯৯২-২০০০); এরিক সোলহেইম, প্রাক্তন পরিবেশ ও জলবায়ু বিষয়ক নির্বাহী পরিচালক এবং প্রাক্তন পরিবেশ ও জলবায়ু মন্ত্রী, নরওয়ে এবং আরও অনেকে। গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ সরকারের প্রধান উপদেষ্টা এবং নোবেল বিজয়ী মাননীয় অধ্যাপক মুহাম্মদ ইউনূস প্রধান অতিথি ও মূল বক্তা হিসেবে অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত থাকবেন।

এই আয়োজনের ধারাবাহিকতায় নর্থ সাউথ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সহযোগিতায় ২৯ জুন অনুষ্ঠিত হবে "একাডেমিয়া ডায়ালগ", যেখানে শিক্ষক, শিক্ষার্থী ও গবেষকদের অংশগ্রহণে সমাজের সামগ্রিক প্রসারে  সামাজিক ব্যবসার ভূমিকা নিয়ে আলোচনা হবে। ঠিক তার পরেই অনুষ্ঠিত হবে "থ্রি জিরো ক্লাব কনভেনশন", যেখানে আলোচনা হবে কিভাবে পৃথিবীতে কার্বন নিঃসরণ, সম্পদ ঘনীভূতকরণ ও বেকারত্বকে "জিরো" করে ফেলা যায়।
