Painting the Domino Stone for the 'Fall of the Wall' Ceremony in Berlin
October 16th, 2009Mr. Mortiz Van Dulmen, CEO of Kultur Projekte Berlin arrived in Bangladesh to see the stone-painting ceremony at the village of Dhamrai. Scores of Grameen Bank borrowers, including the children of the borrowers gathered to paint scenes of Bangladesh onto the Stone. This stone will be among the domino stone that will be used during the 20th year anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall event on the 9th of November, 2009.
The domino stone also bears a message of hope by Professor Muhammad Yunus. He states "Let’s put Poverty to Museum."
