What is Muhammad Yunus Supporters Association (MYSA)?

Muhammad Yunus Supporters Association (MYSA) is a platform which promotes Dr. Muhammad Yunus’ vision globally. It works towards implementing the mission of Dr. Yunus by creating a platform of members who want to make a positive difference in the unprivileged lives of the developing world.

How MYSA is Organized?
MYSA is organized locally, regionally and globally. City-based MYSA is a member of a country-based MYSA and country-based MYSA is a member of International MYSA.

International MYSA committee is elected by the board of directors and Country-MYSA representatives. Country-MYSA committee is elected by the City-MYSA representatives.
Similarly, City-MYSA committee is elected by respective city-MYSA members.

Currently MYSA committee is running in quarterly term basis. As member grows and, local and regional teams get more organized, the term will be changed to bi-yearly and later on annually.

MYSA Key Objectives and Activates:

Let as many people around the world LEARN (not just know) about Dr. Yunus, his works, and his mission and vision
Support Dr. Muhammad Yunus for achieving upcoming mission and vision
Support on creating “www.MuhammadYunus.Org” as a world class web-site with multi-lingual support.
Where internet facilities are not available, use local printing media to take Muhammad Yunus’ message every corner of the globe.
Training of new MYSA members, so that they can teach new people about Dr. Yunus’ “Poverty Free World” mission.
Arrange seminar, symposium locally and visit local schools, colleges and talk to the young students about “poverty free world” “Social Business” and encourage them to prepare themselves for social business career.
Through the professional expertise of the members, MYSA work towards implementing Dr. Yunus’ vision by engaging in Social Businesses. As these social businesses grow, MYSA members will have choice to transform their full time career into Social Businesses
Using this platform, we would encourage people to be social business entrepreneurs, share their views and ideas, and potentially create and replicate the Social Business Enterprises.

How to be a member of a MYSA?
If you want to be MYSA member, please click [Join MYSA] or you can send your request to This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it with your brief introduction. Introduction may include but not limited to a. your name, b. profession, c. educational background, d. professional experience/ expertise, e. awards and achievements, f. any comments/suggestion g. expectation from MYSA.
We will introduce you to your local MYSA and global MYSA members. You will be added in the mailing list and receive the updates of MYSA activities.

Initiate a MYSA in your Area?
If there in no MYSA in your area, you will have opportunity to create one by inviting more members from your area. You will have opportunity to represent your area and your country. By your contribution to MuhammadYunus.Org and MYSA activities, you have opportunity to be committee member of global MYSA. If you want to initiate a MYSA in your area, please follow similar process of “How to be member of a MYSA?” and mention that you want to start a MYSA in your area.
